Sustainable architecture: A hennery

A model to be repeated in local Amazonia communities in order to produce their own food and make profit, selling.

When I went to Manaus to present the prototype for sustainable architecture in April 2012, I visited other local communities. In one of them I met a man that works with permacuture and was hired by FAS to help improve agriculture in those remote areas.

FAS asked him about a hennery and so we talked and started working on a project. I designed his ideas, the most simple, eficient and sustainable construction posible, in order to be repeated in several and different communities around the Amazon rain forest.

We tried to work on a book that would show the construction step by step, but we realised it didn't work (local people are just not used to "read" dwg's), so he is now personally leading the construction in some communities (the albuns are his pictures, in two different vilages)
